I have done it again, it has been almost a month since my last blog post, and for that I apologize, there is unfortunately not much going on in life at the moment to write about, but hey, let’s find something to write about anyways!

FarmKit Update

FarmKit development is going quite well, in between Claude Code rate limits. Despite many people stating that Claude Code is going downhill (ahem Theo Brown), it is still my agentic editor of choice, since it still works pretty well in the rather small FarmKit codebase. My hope is to get some products on FarmKit from my family’s farm, Reimann Hobby Acres, to try and get some initial traffic on the service, and maybe convince some other farms to join. Only time will tell though.

Aside from that, most initial FarmKit features are stable, I am still working on some issues where when a user deletes their account, it will delete the account in Clerk, but not the farm tied to the account. Same thing goes for products, when a user deletes a farm, the products of said farm stay on the site. These little bugs are what I find myself working on now, very annoying, but they must be fixed before more people get on the site.

Life Updates

When it comes to life outside of FarmKit (FarmKit is only a small part of my day), I find myself currently on spring break, always a welcome break. Despite it technically being a break, I still am attempting to finish my Geometry class ahead of schedule, as well as trying to get caught back up on my AP Government and Politics class, which has an insane amount of weekly work (like most AP classes). In all honesty, I was hoping AP Gov would be more focused on the thought behind things, but now almost half way done with the class, it is more about memorizing content than anything, which isn’t what I had signed up for, but alas, it is what I get to live with.
